Ever find yourself feeling braindead after scrolling through too many posts on Instagram? It happens all the time, yet most of us are on the app posting and sharing our lives every single day. And while there are some truly inspiring things to be found on this platform, it (and social media in general) has become an addictive escape from reality that can be toxic if you let it. "Do It for the Photos" by Two Neighbors is speaking directly to the phenomena of people who seem to be consumed with their online appearance significantly more than their reality. I think it is safe to say, that in this day and age, a lot of us have been there at some point or in some way ourselves. And this song calls that way of living out for what it really is, inspiring you to sing along and even reflect.
Two Neighbors is a Hard-Pop duo based in Los Angeles, who met as literal neighbors in Highland Park. Check out their music on Spotify and keep up with all things TN here.
